Digital Engagement #3

For my website I want it to be easy to read and straightforward. I possibly want to use it to show my art and photography and also as a landing page for this site and the site for my forbidden texts class, where I post blog posts about the books we read. I want to include my photography or art in the header of the page to showcase it, and then I want there to be a little about me section with a picture of myself to make everything clear. Then I may add in social media links maybe to a photography or art Instagram account. I also will have a space that links to my art and photography and a place that links this site and my forbidden texts site. For the color scheme I want to do earth toned colors and make it look professional but also make sure it matches my aesthetic as a person. As a favicon I was thinking of doing a picture of my art to show what my website is intended for. For some reason I can’t upload the picture I have drawn of my brainstorming, but I have created what the homepage will look like as I described above. I think using Canva or some other creative tool will help me to layer images and text the way I want to and make my website stand out.
