In class we were using AI to generate text, images, and texts from images. I used Microsoft Copilot to create a sentence, my parameters were for it to generate a first sentence of a fantasy novel that was very mysterious and magical. The sentence it generated was: In the heart of an ancient, whispering forest, where the moonlight weaved through the leaves, a forgotten melody awakened the slumbering magic of a thousand years. I was honestly shocked by the detail in this sentence, it actually sounds like a fantasy novel I would read. I find it really interesting that AI has the ability to create such detailed sentences like this. Another part of exploring this AI in class was generating an image based on someone’s text generated by AI. So, I generated an image for this sentence, ‘In the time before time, before the stars flickered into existence and the first whispers of creation danced through the void, there was a being known as Lurthar,’ it was a swirling purple, pink nebula type of thing. I think the AI didn’t really do a great job at generating an image for me, because in my mind I was thinking of something more humanlike and goddess like, whereas my AI just created a kind of light space looking image. Edit: I was actually doing this wrong, and I was using the Copilot waiting image instead of an actual image generated. This shows how much I know about AI lol. The next component was to create a text based off of an image, but I couldn’t figure out how to put an image into Copilot, so I didn’t complete that part. I think it was really cool to use AI for this kind of creative aspect and I was really surprised by the AI’s writing skills, obviously I would never use AI written work, but I just think it is interesting how it can make itself have such humanlike writing. I am going to include the NEW image of Lurthar which I think lines up with what I was thinking way more, I used Imagine Art AI to create this image instead of Copilot because I couldn’t figure that out.
